To summarize the main argument of my article I would summarize it by saying that its claim is that To Kill A Mockingbird is not racist and that it is a little uncomfortable but not racist so its alright for it to be in schools. I disagree with the author of this articles statement because its might not be racist to them but it could be racist to someone else. I know it sounds a little weird but everyone has an opinion and to them it simply could be seen as racist AND uncomfortable.

My article is arguing that "To Kill a Mockingbird" should be read in schools. The author says "To Kill a Mockingbird' is a time capsule, it expresses the liberal pieties of a more innocent time. Which i agree it is a very important part of history

THe main argument is that To KIll a Mockingbird should be allowed in schools. THe reasoning behind this is because the author thinks kids need to learn the hard truth about what it was like back in those times. I agree because it is good to know the truth even if people get sensitive about it.
