         <description><![CDATA[<div>The three pyramids and their respective smaller pyramids served as funerary tombs for great pharaohs who lived and died during this time. They were built with gold and ivory, and supposedly had a pure white and gold exterior. The inside used to be stocked full of treasure and gold but grave robbers stole most of it.</div>]]></description>

What used to be a seaport but is now 5 miles inland, Ravella, Italy was at the extent of the Roman Empire in its peak. The church contains mosaics of Justinian the Great in order to remind the people of the city of his power and reach.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
