It has a height of 62-75 cm and weighs 10-14 kg, which, thinking about it, is pretty big for birds. They normally eat roots, seeds, fruits and nuts, making them herbivores and vegans. The young creatures open their eyes on the 7th–10th day of life and begin to crawl on the 12th–15th day. By the second month they begin to eat meat.

   The Woolly Mammoth it was a specie of mamooth that lived 11000 years ago and were also herbivorous. They lived during the Ice Age and when the same ended, the Woolly Mammoths went extinct.

   The Woolly Mammoths habitat, it’s called tundra steppe and it was very cold and it could get as low as -50°C. Its habitat crossed northern Asia, Europe and north parts of North America. To survive the cold they had to have some physical adaptations like woolly fur, thick skin, long tusks, small ears.

   If you think that the Woolly Mammoths lived at the same time of Dinosaurs you are wrong because the Mammoths lived 5 million years ago and the Dinosaurs lived 246 millions ago, that is a big difference!

   They lived and travelled in large groups and their were led by the old female.

   Have you ever thought about the size of their tusks? Because they are very big, around 15 feet long, which they used them for fighting and digging the deep snow.

   Did you know that we can tell the age of a woolly mammoth from the rings of its tusk, like looking at the rings of a tree?

These creatures like to live in large spaces!

In our opinion, leopards are glamorous animals as they are really pretty and have a stunning pattern. We think it’s a really interesting feline because they have camouflage and they can hide from their predators, which are lions, tigers and hyenas.

Did you know how much time can the turtles stay under water? They can stay between 10 and 30 minutes, on average. The more active they are, the less time they spend diving. When they go up to breathe, they stay on the surface for less than two to three seconds.

If you think for a moment, there are some species of turtles in extinction and the reason is the sea pollution, caused by human behaviour.

In our opinion, turtles are really cute and perfect animals, and they are very important to our world.

Today we are going to talk about the zippo, an animal that is extinct. He lived in a magical forest where the sunlight never reaches. Zippo was very dumb because he ate carnivorous plants and they were bad for his health since it scratched his stomach.

As a baby, he weighted 10 to 20 kilograms and in his adult form he weighted from 55 to 70 kilograms.

The covering of his body was feathers and thorns. His head was like a hedgehog and he walked on four legs. Zippo had wings and flew around the forest while he was not sleeping. Zippo liked to roll like a panda and it was very cute because his tail wrapped around his body. Zippo had an asexual reproduction. Did you know that he liked to share his meals with his friends?

  A long time ago sailors were afraid of this creature, Kraken. He was a dreadful sea creature capable of sinking ships and devouring their crews . He was a giant octopus capable of anything. It had a height of 12-15 meters(40-50 feet) and a weight of 275kg(600 pounds). He usually ate sailors and ships, some dead men and large sea creatures. He is from nordic mythology ( 1000 B.C) . He used to live in the Norwegian waters and Greenland.

Plecostomus is a fish that likes cleaning a lot as we will explain later on.

He is a fish that eats sea weed, other plants, invertebrates, pumpkin, bugs and small fishies.

His natural habitat is in South America more specifically between the center and the north of South America. They like having places to hide in the rivers.

They live in captivity for 10-15 years, and they have a big mouth which is their way of cleaning small seaweed that appears in an aquarium. They also have a black, brown or yellow skin colour.

It has an approximate size of 30-50 cm.

They aren’t aggressive.

So, in conclusion, they are a friendly fish with very good cleaning skills.

White Tigers are extinct, and the last known wild white tiger was killed in 1958. Just think for a moment about that… It’s sad, right?

They used to live in forests and wetlands of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.

White Tigers ate moose, wild boars and reindeers. They grow up to 3 meters. White Tigers have white and black stripes, and they have beautiful blue eyes. They grow darker in the cold. They can weight up to around 570 pounds, which is a little bit more than the weight of two giant pandas, have you ever thought about that?

  Kitsune was associated to a god and she represents fertility and prosperity but no one has proven her existence so far. There fore, people have always believed that’s she is just a espirit.

  She represents the elements so there are more than 13 different kitsune, one for each element .

  Green anacondas diet is based on fish, reptiles, amphibians, deers, dogs, capybaras and any other animals that come to drink from the water where anacondas reside. Anacondas have no poison, they use their body to smash their preys.

Axolotls are a type of salamander, however , unlike other amphibians, they don't lose their gills as they grow, so they are unable to live on land and spend all of their lives in the water.

Axolotl gills appear as feathery appendage on the outside of their bodies, it makes them super recognizable and very cute to boot!

Did you know that the axolotls vary in colour from brown to pink to green? They have webbed long feet and a long tail to aid with swimming.

Many people say they look like they’re always smiling due to the shape of their mouths. 

However, you should be careful because some axolotls are cannibals when they are young!

But think on the bright side, they are only around 20-25 centimeters!

Their diet is based on fish, krill and squid. They fish at depths of 250 meters

and live in the Antarctic continent. They are oviparous and have a period of incubation between 33 and 62 days. One really cool thing about capybaras is that they are super friendly, which means they are always in groups. You can see them in groups of 20 capybaras.

They have chubby bodies and short legs, and their fur is kind of brown, which helps them blend into the environment. When they feel scared, they dive into the water and only go up with their noses out to breathe. Capybaras are herbivores, they only eat plants, like grass and leaves.

Another cool fact is that they are really relaxed and sometimes hang out with other animals, like birds and monkeys! There are even videos of capybaras playing with dogs!

Capybaras are super cute and awesome animals. Who wouldn't want one as a pet? But, in reality, they need a lot of space and water, so let’s leave them in the wild!!

The Dragons are mythical creatures that exist all over different mythology. Their origin is unknown, but scientists believe that they have been around for thousand of years, and we know that  Dragons are more popular in the Oriental culture.

To their own protection, they have scales, they can fly with their wings and spit fire, they have big and scary teeth. They are typically fearsome, evil and aggressive.

They are carnivore, because they eat other animals and are amazing predators.

The  Dragons’ weakness is if they get wounded in the underbelly, but they fear no beast.

In China’s mythology, dragons symbolize power, wealth and leadership.
