         <title>How do these two theories complement each other, or do you think they are conflicting? </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In my opinion, these two theories complement each other in recognizing that learning is not individual and unidirectional. Instead, it is through interacting/connecting with the real world. In other words, it is going beyond the limits of ordinary experience, which means it is not "under the control of the individual" anymore (Siemens, 2005, p., 5). Learning takes places 'literally' everywhere, and people's task is to connect with the information sources and get involved in the process.&nbsp;<br><br>However, I also believe they somehow contradict each other on one crucial aspect. Kolb (1984, p.,16) states that learning takes place in "all human" surroundings, while Siemens (2015, p., 5) says the opposite by adding it may take place in "non-human" devices.&nbsp;<br><br>What does he mean by "non-human" devices? Does he refer to artificial intelligence (AI)?&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

TECHNOLOGY can store a tremendous amount of information and reveal any information with a tap of a simple keyword. And humans decide which information they want to learn.&nbsp;<br><br>Nowadays, it is effortless to gain new experiences without even leaving our homes!&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
