Parenting styles are ways parents teach their children how to behave or grow up, its a method that can be used to discipline or adjust unwanted Behaviors in children. My relationship with my mother and father is positive, my mother is a Authoritative parent she makes rules and explains them clearly, my father is a Authoritative as well but has some of the elements of a Authoritarian parenting style.
the effects of these parenting styles caused me to be who I am today. It makes me responsible for my actions, and to try my best in school and that laziness is not accepted, I was taught to help others even if it does not benefit yourself in any way.
PHOTO ( First Communion )

The second stage of Erickson that most impacted me was stage 1: Trust v.s Mistrust. I passed stage one because my parents provided for me as a child and now I have no problems trusting anyone, I dont have problems making friends, when I was younger I did not see the need to make friends but now I know that keeping things to yourself and not asking for help when you need it not good for your mental health so whenever something is bothering me I know I can trust my friends with whatever I have to say, weather its important or not I know that I can trust them.
PHOTO ( Me my friend Valerie and My sister)

Erikson's stages represent the stages in life that can cause a person to be happy and healthy to people being sad and unhealthy it shows how we can have problems in our lives depending on the struggles we have had in the certain stages
I have failed stage four: Industry v.s Inferiority.
Failing this stage has still made an impact on me because to this day I tend to not have confidence in things I do to this day which affects me in everyday life. The experience i had was when I was in middle school and I noticed other students where loud and had tried to develop special things that where unique to them and I never tired because I assumed I would never measure up to other people. Never trying to do something that shows I am different or have a unique place in life has made me doubt all of the things I know and feel lesser than my classmates.
PHOTO ( 1st day of 7th grade)

The concept of Kohlberg's theory, would be levels of thinking that involve reasons for making decisions made, using reasoning.
A moral problem I had was when I was about 7 years old and I wanted to take a toy of the self and I sneaked it onto the convayer belt in the grocery store, and after it went over the belt I realized I placed it on the wrong side of the bar and the man in front of us payed for it. I remember telling my mom what I did because I knew having someone else pay for something I tried to steal was wrong. The stage of moral development That I was in was Pre-conventional to Post- conventional thinking because I knew what I did was wrong at the beginning and I continued to try to get it because I wanted it, but when it was misplaced on the checkout I knew it was wrong to make someone else pay for it. This choice impacts me today because it makes me think about my actions and to not be careless when doing something, but it also tells me that stealing something for your own benefit is wrong in many ways.
PHOTO ( Me when I was 7 years old)

Nature and Nurture is a theory that makes people who they are and what reactions they have to certain things.
Based on my experiences I have grown more towards nurture because as I grew up I was surrounded by people who loved me and taught me what was right and wrong, my natural traits are pretty average, I have brown hair and brown eyes, and I have no traits that would cause my behavior to be different.
PHOTO ( MY family and I)
