-Inquiry/critical thinking skills

-Multiple/diverse points of view
-Children’s books, stories, images, etc. of real events and real people 
-Culturally relevant and culturally appropriate materials
-Unbiased and inclusive materials that reflect diversity represented within the classroom, the community, and world
