Bhutan follows a democratic constitutional monarchy system with three branches of government that is executive, legislative and judiciary.

The king of Bhutan is the head of state and the Prime Minister is considered as the head of government of executive branch.

The legislative branch consists the parliament of Bhutan, which is law making body comprising the National Council and National Assembly.

Judiciary branch includes the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in the country.

Prime ministers and ministers wears orange kabney with patang or goentag, while members or parliamentarians wears blue kabney or rachu with patang or goentag. Secretaries, who are assistant of CM wears Bura marp with patang or goentag.
