I have always had an interest in capturing beautiful moments, I have a talent in finding the good in every day situations and making light out of everything. Growing up I would use my parents camera to take pictures while we were on holiday, and out and about. I had never really considered pursuing photography as a career until I was stuck deciding what to do after leaving high school, this was when I was remembered the advice to 'do what you love and you will never work a day in your life'. So I decided to go for it. My photography consists of real life images, capturing the beauty of situations happening all around us, taking photos in this way reminds me, and hopefully others, just how beautiful life is. I am inspired by many different people, mainly different wedding photographers who capture documentary style images, I believe that they show the real essence of the day, as well as the raw emotion and happiness.

Importance of connection.

It is important to connect with others within the creative industry for many different reasons. Connecting with other photographers might land you more jobs, maybe second shooting or covering for someone. On the other side of this too, it gives you connections, if you aren't able to make it to a job, you would be able to recommend a different person.

It could also be useful to connect with other creatives, for example hair and makeup artists could work alongside you on a personal project, or they could be people that you recommend to clients in need of the service.

I also am a part of a photography group on Facebook, this is useful as they are always posting about different jobs going.
