For this the stimulus was nightmares or night terrors. This was mainly the way they affect people and how for each person they vary in what happens in them. Not much varied within the time we took to move the song from ideas to an actual composition.  

Amongst the things that did change ; it was the the instruments involved and the time signature change and a slight chord change within the chorus. Apart from that most thing stayed the same from the ideas that were already there.
 
Also due to the time signature change it meant that we had to alter the way the lyrics fell within the song. This was for he purpose of being a)easier to play and b) the better sound with little amount of instruments we were dealing with. 

The structure of the song was verse chorus verse and to a solo from the guitar to a fade out.

The bass and the flute played matching notation throughout the piece but this varied on the chorus. This was to give the ear a resting sound to the ear from the flute which being similarly used as a drone instrument like the bass in this case. 

Above the drones the electric played a different riff as it was the only guitar we decided to put some distortion on it. This was to make it sound as if there was more than the one guitar. The strengths of the group include the fact we moulded well considering that for me personally and the bassist, the genre was not our usual type and therefore the way it all came together in the end despite it. I also think that the way the flute was used. As this was a metal/screamo genre the flute normally would not work but by playing the drones it was able to help give the eerie fell of what the night mares/ terrors may feel like ton people. 


However we also encountered the problem of timing our weakness in that part was how we were going to structure it to suit all aspects of the people involved. This was the cause for the time signature change to make sure everyone was involved. Everyone can experiance these, while others haev more severe cases and it can lead to the victim being scared. I personally believe that it could be a way to teach the ones who are unaware of how bad things are for some of those unfortunate to feel these types of dreams.

This in the process of ideas had more lyrics (as seen in the bold italics in the lyrics section).
