The civil rights movement was a time period where the struggle for justice and equality were at a all time high. The whole point of the civil rights movement was to this end this injustice and end the inequality, but how did it all start? Well to begin, there’s a lot of reasons of why this movement came to be but the main ones are because of World War 2,Legal Precedents,The Great Migration, and lastly The Rise of African American Leaders. Now the reasoning of why those reasons started the civil rights movement is simple was quite simple they all had somehow ruined the economy in their own way also had segregation. The main key objectives of the civil rights movement was to end segregation and make everyone live as one not being separated simply due to color, Voting rights because during the 1950’s African Americans couldn’t vote and that was a big no no, Equal Employment Opportunity for everyone not just white people, Economic Justice this was so everyone had the same wages, better access to jobs, etc, lastly to end Police Brutality/ Racial Violence during those times police brutality was at a all time high and the amount of the fights that would break out simply due to being in the wrong neighborhoods were scary.

The whole goal of the Civil Rights Movements was so African Americans didn’t have to suffer simply for being darker than everyone else so the Civil Rights Movement mainly focused on obtaining Racial equality and social justice for African American. However, while it was ended segregation it was also promoting equal rights. So in the end the Civil Rights Movement was meant to achieve equality for everyone especially the African Americans.

The Civil Rights Movements had many key figures, one of them was the famous Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr, Martin Luther king was born January 15th, 1929. Into a very racially segregated time period, during his education life Martin Luther King attended Morehouse college and earned his bachelor degree degree in sociology. Martin Luther King’s role in the civil rights movement were The Montgomery Bus Boycott where Luther King became a national figure and this boycott started because of the infamous Rosa Parks. Luther King’s boycott ended up leading to the segregation on the bus being deemed unconstitutional so in the end people were able to sit wherever they wanted.

Martin Luther King also did the March on Washington, The March on Washington and this speech was meant to spread awareness to the injustice and inequality going on in the world during that time.

The Civil Rights Movement was a profound success overall but there were some limitations/struggles such as the already bad economy, the down right horrible segregation going on, and the civil rights movement received resistance and backlash. But the successes of the civil rights movement is they were able to change the legal side of the world by introducing the civil rights act in 1964, voting rights in 1965, and the fair housing act in 68. Furthermore, the civil rights movement changed social and cultures in the world, lastly The movement influenced everyone across the world to start changing their ways and end the segregation.

The civil rights movement impacted society and the whole world by no longer having segregation and now everyone can live as one without any problems of color or anything of that nature. Also because of the civil rights movement the African American culture has been able to blossom and now everyone can enjoy their culture.
