Compliment: My partner was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of discussing how history has been used by folks with power to reinforce notions that groups to which they belong – for example, White, wealthy, educated – have been the primary "makers" of history. When, in fact, history should be the story of people from all races, genders, classes, and religions. History shouldn't belong to any one group. It is up to those living in the present to question dominant perspectives and include those folks who are missing from the historical narrative.

Compliment: Priscila did a very good job explaining why she decided to talk about her grandma. You can tell that she was very passionate about what she was saying. Even from this short video you can tell how much she loves her grandma. She didn't stutter at all and i enjoyed listening to what she has to say. Compliment: The person my partner admires is her older sister. She did a great job explaining why she admires her older sister. I also have an older sister that I look up to, so I can relate to what she was saying. An example that she gave me was that her sister always wants to help others, and is very caring, so she went to nursing school and just graduated. I think admiring someone like your older sister is very special because it grows your bond together even more.
