It can benefit many different fields with the research it provides however, the main reason I enjoyed this topic was because of its creativity.

As an editor, going into VFX, I can appreciate the numerous ways data can be displayed because of how creative and visually pleasing it can get. In film, creativity has to be at its peak to get anything out of what you're making so, the data walking work that were shown on their website has been great additives to my own creative inspiration.  

Another thing I found really interesting was the motion capture data. This can be really interesting for a VFX artist. I enjoyed seeing technology advancements that easily track the motion of moving objects. The way I think of this is future links to a program like Unreal Engine that would be able to use motion tracking information and allow the creator to instantly have animated objects in a scene. This can be especially useful when creating large scenes with many people. For example, a really important trend was the rise of streaming video services. This meant there was an increase popularity in LFTVDs. This is also in direct relation towards the pandemic and how we were forced to stay inside. It makes sense that these longer series are more enjoyable to watch with an increase of free time. After more of the public became aware of its value, the production rates increased for such films.

This is useful to me as a film maker as it shows what kind of stories are popular these days, and this increases my adaptability in editing. The main advancement in film was more inclusion of different diversities such as ethnicities and sexualities. To spread acceptance and awareness of minority groups, film has been very encouraging and positive towards said groups. I think its a great way to push forward as a community and as human beings.

This has also taught me the value of considering other diversities in the making of film.
