Vocabulary Development is also important to lesson delivery - 3 categories
Content Vocabulary - domain specific vocab students need to learn to learn new content
Academic Vocabulary - words traditionally used in academic texts. Students need to know to succeed in school, tests, university and employment.
Support Vocabulary - words students need to understand texts they are reading.
