Students are already dabbling in AI usage. If they aren't taught how to use it ethically then I could foresee teachers having to deal with students using AI to complete the work that is meant to be done by students.

I conducted several AI training classes at my site and the district level to more than 200 faculty members and experimented with new ways of teaching in innovative ways.

Next year my new challenge will be to find a way to be innovative WITHOUT any old or new technology tools (funding removed :-)) OR paper resources (fewer paper copies, fewer workbooks, etc.).

With Gemini going live and AI only growing the support needs to be from someone who isn't splitting their focus between their classroom job and Tech support. People will need live support and someone who is on top of the latest AI thing.
