I usually imagine the environment rather than the characters unless something about them gains a strong emphasis. I also picture scenarios I predict might play out.

I am wondering how the bands of mourning will tie into the Wax against his uncle storyline. Perhaps they are how he will defeat his uncles "army" of unknown strength. I am also wondering how Harmony will be involved with their eventual confrontation.

What do you think will happen next?

I think that the raid on his uncles stronghold to save his sister will go wrong. I think they will get captured and the subsequent arcs will be them being saved or escaping on their own. 

Is there something you are becoming curious about as you are reading?

I am wondering how the "lost" alamantic arts were rediscovered on Scadrial. We know the lord ruler kept them secret, but not how the secrecy was unveiled. Did Harmony perhaps bring them to light? Were they discovered through trial and error? 

If you were a character in this book, would you make the same decision?

I don't think I would distrust the Khandra or Harmony as much as Wax does after he kills Bleeter. I feel his anger blinds him in that regard. He is also friends with one of the Kandra which makes his anger even more confusing

What do you think might happen next?

I think that next Alec will drive the gang to the temple were the bands of mourning are supposedly kept accept they wont be there. I think the Sets forces will soon follow, and the two will come to some sort of uneasy alliance. 

If you were a character in this book, would you make the same decision?

I think Alec was a bit too trusting even if he did see Wax as a god. I think in his shows I would have been warry of the random gang saving me and proceeding to attempt to fight an army on their own.
