The country was in debt, the soldiers we’re employed, and the nobility was shattered. The York and Lancaster are from the same families, and they were fighting for control of the throne after coming out the war with a weak leader. Henry the VI was the ruler and had mental illnesses and during this period England needed a strong ruler. So Richard Duke of York took his place.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
