When you turn 15 you are starting to mature more. Abby Sunderland attempted to sail across the world alone when she turned 16. Abby sunderland was very brave to go on the voyage alone. I think that the parents were smart to let their daugter sail across the world because it gives her an experience while she's young.  In "Ship Of Fools" some people thought  that their parents were immature and not smart for letting her go.
