I have many family members who are also nurses, nurse practitioners, and dentist, after shadowing many of them, I thought nursing would be the best fit for me. As I like a challenge and variety, nursing as a career has so many different specialties and variations that I know I would never get bored. Currently, I am interested in many critical care areas of nursing, particularly NICU. I love children and babies and I have heard so many good things about critical care areas. I have encountered much adversity over choosing to come to Clemson, deciding to change my major to Nursing, and finding myself over the last few years of college. Though I have failed at many things, the passion I had for Clemson, nursing as a career, and loving myself for who I am has made me a happier person overall. Passion can be interchanged with the term "love".
