         <title>Updates- Active</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Active:<br>1. I accomplished this 5 days out of the 7 this week, which is one more day than my goal! There were challenges the other days like being mentally prepared or having time.&nbsp; When I was having a problem mentally, I was able to use the support system I have and talk things out. It made me feel much better and more motivated. To keep being successful, I am going to work on my mentality and do my best to keep it strong. I will continue to also use my strengths.<br>2. This goal has been a love-hate relationship. There is mostly love, but unfortunately I have gotten sick. It was hard for about a week or so for me to fully commit to this goal. I have, however, used my independence and my support system to get me through this. I have it set in my head that I am going to really push myself harder than ever this next week.<br>3. These past couple of weeks have been up and down, but I have been pretty successful with this goal. I do at least 4 days of working out each week. I did have a week where I was kind of sick and not feeling very well. It kind of got in the way. However, I used my own motivation to get me through. I also had some friends come with me to motivate me. My plan to go more above and beyond with this goal is to eat better so I have more energy, and I will get more sleep.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Updates- Mindfulness</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mindfulness:<br>1. I was not very successful in with this goal. This week was very rough and hard to get through and my coping mechanisms were poor. I had a mental block and it was hard to just focus on so many things at one time that I just decided it was best to put the feelings aside for the most part. There was a day where I had to confide in my people. I talked things out and felt a little better. This week and the next coming weeks I am going to try and work on different breathing techniques.&nbsp;<br>2. I have been a little more successful in learning to be more mindful. I take time every now and then to really focus on getting deep breaths. I also found out that I like listening to thunderstorms at night while trying to fall asleep. This was also an idea from my friends, and they are what helped me with this goal. I do, however, need to find time to work on breathing and manifesting and reflecting.<br>3. I have actually been more successful than I think. I think my way of being in tune with myself is working out. I do do breathing techniques sometimes, but working out just puts me in a better mood. I haven't really encountered too many encounters other than just taking awhile to find my happy/calm place. I found this by being motivated and&nbsp;being independent. My plan to be more successful is to put myself first and allow myself to enjoy the things I want to do.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Updates- Giving</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Giving:<br>1. I was not able to give to a foundation/charity yet. However, I did find one that I am hoping to donate to soon. I used my independence when finding this. I just did not have the resources at the time to work everything out yet. I am hoping that this week I will be able to do at least a little something for this foundation.<br>2. I have not necessarily volunteered, but I have given to a couple charities here and there! I used my kindness for this one. I felt like it was the right thing to do in the moment. Hopefully, I can find somewhere that is putting on a fundraiser, and I can help those people out.<br>3. I still have not volunteered. However, I have donated! There have been a couple places that I have donated, and a lot of them are to college foundations and local businesses. I didn't really face any challenges with this. I used my being outgoing and kindness to get out there and go somewhere that needed help. To keep this going, I will continue to go to these businesses and help out when I can.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Updates- Connect</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Connect:&nbsp;<br>1. I was actually able to plan something with my friends! We made plans for my friends from home to come down and watch the Super Bowl together. We all brought a snack and chatted about random things. I was able to use my communication and planning skills for this. I already have another day planned for my roommates and I to go out and have a girls day together! I am just going keep working on staying in contact with the people around me.<br>2. My friends and I planned a Kansas City trip! I also was able to have my friends from home come down to Emporia for a little bit. With that, I have talked to an old childhood friend recently, and we might get to hangout sometime soon! I used my outgoing and independent personality to get these things going. There were not really too many challenges with this other than money for the trip. I will hopefully get to keep in touch with my high school friend!<br>3. This has been very good! I have connected with a bunch of old high school friends. I even made connections with some new ones. I, with this one as well, used my outgoing personality to reach out and really get close to these people. Luckily for me, I did not face any challenges with this one. Our schedules lined up pretty well! I will continue to reach out to these people, and I am happy they are back in my life.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning:<br>1. I worked on this goal 3 days out of the week last week, and it brought me a lot closer to finishing my first book. I used my independence to allow this to happen. There were times, however, where I was just too tired to read because I got home later than I expected. I will try and read another 3 days worth this next coming week.&nbsp;<br>2. I have worked on this goal off and on for the past almost month. I have used my support system lately, as they give me suggestions for reading. Like the last time, I am just so tired sometimes and don't always want to wind down with a book. Hopefully I will finish the book by the end of the month! This goal will help to push me a little harder.<br>3. I was not successful the past couple of weeks. My challenges were time management and being tired.&nbsp;I really need to get more sleep. I really didn't use my strengths when it came to this goal either. I will, however, find the time to read more. I focus too much on the TV and being out with people sometimes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. If you do not know how to communicate with, honestly anyone, then you will never grow as a person. You will bottle things up, and eventually blow up on people. This could cause a strain in that relationship. If you do not address your bottom line, then the people you try to connect with will abuse that. They will take advantage of your well-being. The 7 principles of smart love kind of tie into both of those, but still add on. If you don't use them properly, then your mind is always going to think the wrong things, and you will feel like you cannot communicate that. Use your personality in everything you do. Know when to tone it down and ramp it up, but be who you are. That is the only way you will truly be happy. Eventually you will attract those who appreciate that. Lastly, your conflict-management style needs to be used in the right setting. There are times where it could be too aggressive, or times where you could get taken advantage of. Either way, it is not healthy for your mind to feel that way.<br>3. Expectations, division of household, and cost of raising a child will play a big part in my life. I want a family. I will have to make the decision with good timing though. It will put a strain on my well-being for a little bit. However, I will hopefully have a strong group of people in my corner that will get me through it. I know, when the time comes, that I would do anything for my child. With that, I just hope my husband will think the same way. To maintain and enhance my well-being after this project, I will continue to keep the people around me close. I will find motivation within myself, and I will become stronger because of it. I have gotten more in tune with who I am and what I want in life. As long as the people I love are still with me, I think I will be stronger than ever. </div>]]></description>
