         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>No More Staff Meetings</em></strong></p><p><br/></p><ol><li><p>Benefit- Student achievement is improved through collaborative professional learning.  As the professional learning community is fostered, responsibility is shared which helps to empower staff, making them feel valued and heard. Staff work together to achieve a common outcome.</p><p><br/></p></li><li><p>Challenge- </p><p>  Having these regularly can be time-consuming which can possibly lead to teacher burnout or feeling overwhelmed.</p><p><br/></p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Lab Lessons</strong> is a strategy that allows for teacher come together and observe each other work. Afterwards, there is a session which allows for feedback.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Benefit</strong> - because they observe the practice, asked clarifying questions and listened to feedback, teachers get a better understanding of how to deliver the lesson.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Challenge</strong> - the greatest challenge is that of substitution. if there are too many teachers involved in the process it becomes difficult to cover all the classes.  </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
