For Task 1, we have to make a poster or video based on our choice of topics. I chose a poster on How Should You Cherish Life. Firstly, when we be thankful, we always will be getting more rizq in many ways such as healthy body, more money, and a good partner. Secondly, helping each other is a way to overcome grief that we may experience, and it can empower us in our worship to Allah. Other than that, we can also be getting pahala for our good deeds. Next, self-love is important to cherish our life as the key to a happy and peaceful life comes from ourselves. When we love ourselves, we will tend to become happier. The hikmah of doing what you love is that we will enjoy this life because we are doing something that we are passionate about. Lastly, we should be close to Allah. As a Muslim, the dominant factor to become a successful person is to get Allah's blessings by getting closer to Him.

An improvement that I would like to suggest is including more talks/videos from speakers such as Mufti Menk.

Many people starts to do something good in Ramadhan such as starts to wearing tudung, starts to praying 5 times a day and starts to not gossip. And that is okay because there is no such thing as too late to change. This video shows me that we have to keep doing what we did during Ramadhan because it is a month that shows us guidance to always istiqamah in what we are doing.

From our 1st session, I was enlightened on how to perfect our salah especially during Ramadhan. It gave me the realisation that there could be a possibility that my prayer is not accepted because of my wudhu' or I was rushing my prayer. In order to perfect our 'amal, it has to start with our niyyah or intention. Good intentions will lead to good deeds which will then lead to good virtues. If our intention of doing ibadah is only to show off, then we are very far from perfecting our ibadah. It also require Ihsan in order to achieve the status perfect. We have to do our ibadah as if we are in front of Allah SWT, like we can see Him. Even though we cannot physically see Him, He always sees us. As conclusion, we have to try our hardest to perform ibadah the best we can so we can achieve Jannah.

Salah (Prayer)
From praying to Allah SWT, one can ask Him for anything including forgiveness and His mercy on the sins committed in the past. One will be protected from Fahsya' wal Munkar.
2. Fasting
Fasting in Ramadhan teaches us how to control our appetite and wants. Hajj
Performed in Makkah during the month of Dzulhijjah. Hajj allows one to express gratitude to Allah SWT for the endless rizq or luxuries provided for them. Khushu' can be achieved in many ways but not every Muslims are capable to achieve it. One of the ways to achieve khushu' is to remember that even though Allah can't be seen, He definitely can see you. Pray as if one is praying his last Salah, as if he is in front of the Kaabah.

From this session, I've learnt about what does one achieve or the importance of khushu' in prayer. Khushu' is not the easiest thing to achieve as it requires the application of Ihsan in our Salah. So those who succeeded to achieve it is automatically a good person. Once one achieves the highest level of khushu', he will only focuses on the ibadah itself instead of solely focusing on the rewards that came with it. For instance, one will be more excited to perform Salah and he will always try his best to pray early on time instead of prioritising worldly matters. Everything that we want to achieve comes first from our heart and intentions and we have to perform our ibadah with patience and full of concentration. For instance, Muslims should not rush in finishing the recitations in Salah. Instead, one should take the time to recite with the correct tajwid and try to savour the meanings. One should also make sure to take wudhu' correctly and apply Sunnah as proposed by Rasulullah PBUH. As conclusion, one has to practice being a good person at all times in order to achieve khushu'.

(Module is used as reference. Absence due to Biomedical Interview for undergraduate programme)

Sawm or fasting is the action of resisting oneself from eating, drinking and bad deeds such as lying, cheating and backbiting In the month of Ramadhan is when Muslims have the chance to achieve lailatul qadr. Sawm teaches oneself so many things especially sabr or patience. How so? Resisting the urge to eat and drink is easier said than done considering we do it everyday. Without patience, one could not fast until Maghrib when it is finally time to break our fast. Sawm also enlightens people to help others in need. One usually have the tendency to buy many food after a long time of not eating, which could lead to waste of food. This could simply be prevented by giving the excessive food to the homeless and the needy. As conclusion, as hard as fasting is, Muslims are obligated to do it as it brings us so many goodness and benefits.

Topic of this session is about Zakat. Every Muslim is obligated to pay zakat regardless of their age. This means that even babies have to pay for zakat. However, this will be paid under the parents. Why do Muslims need to pay for Zakat? One of the virtues of Zakat is helping Muslim brothers and sisters in need. Our rizq' come from Allah SWT, so we have to share our earnings or rizq' with everybody else. Zakat also shows the spirituality of a Muslim towards Allah SWT. We may not get the reward of paying Zakat today, but we will surely get rewarded in the afterlife. As conclusion, we have to pay Zakat as it is our obligation towards Allah SWT and also to help our brothers and sisters. By paying Zakat, we not only clear our mal, we are also helping those in need.

From this week's session, I was enlightened about the topic of Hajj & Umrah. This ibadah is one of Allah's commands upon Muslims and it is obligatory for those who can afford it. Hajj means visiting baitullah or the house of Allah in the month of Dzulhijjah, performing specific actions. Hajj became wajib on the 9th Hijrah and it was later performed by Prophet Muhammad PBUH on the 10th Hijrah. Umrah differs from Hajj as it can be performed during any time which means it is not obligatory to perform it during a specific month. If a person left out one of the wajib requirements of Hajj, his Hajj is still counted but he has to pay for dam as a punishment. As conclusion, Muslims have to try the hardest to gain extra money or rizq' to perform Hajj which is Allah's command upon us.
