'The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian' by Sherman Alexie is a Just Right book for me. I am interested in it because it is about a teenager navigating identity and belonging. It is a window book for me because I am not a boy or Native American. I want to learn more about people who are not like me. The genre is fiction but it is also a bit autobiographical. I like fiction that is based on the author's real life. I missed 2 words on the first page but I was able to figure them out using context clues. I understood 98% of the words. I also understood everything on the first page I read. I want to read more!!
