During 6th grade, we always had a test so that means I studied a lot. So when the science teacher told us we had a test my mind immediately went to me thinking about how I have to study. I never liked studying but it was the only way that I would pass. So that's what I did. I studied until it was the day of the test. Fast forward to 3 days later, it was the day of the test. I just wanted to get the test done and over so I focused and started my test. There were not a lot of questions, to begin with, so I thought would be fine and I was until I got the end of the test. I think there were like five questions on the back and I looked at them trying to figure out the answers but I couldn't think. I was stuck. So I did the next best thing. I guessed. I had a feeling when I did that I was gonna fail but I was so mad that I just turned it in. I was so angry at myself because I studied and I thought I knew all the answers but I didn't. The week after we got our test back. I failed the test. I was so mad but then I decided that it was ok to be mad because I thought now I have a reason to work even harder.

This relates to my theme because anger can be a great way to motivate someone to do better.

In the 5th grade, I had two teachers and I didn't like either of them but I am just going to talk about one of them. I will call her Mrs.M. At the end of the year in 5th grade something happened. We were writing a paper and I was kind of stuck so I just trying to think of what to write and then Mrs.M and I made eye contact. I knew she was going to yell at me because that was the type of teacher she was. The one that would yell at you for anything. No matter how hard you tried to explain what happened. She would always say that we were making excuses or that it was disrespectful because we were auguring but I did it anyway. She started yelling at me because she said that I was talking and I was distracting the other students and I tried explaining that I was just thinking but she didn't listen. So I got a little bit louder and she the same. Then, I did the unthinkable, I started yelling at Mrs.M. I never thought that I would yell at a teacher but I did but she didn't listen to me. So I was saying stuff about me being happy about leaving this school and I'm not gonna miss this school. At this point I was so angry I didn't even care about what I was saying until I was done. After that she was silent for a moment and so was I. At this point, I was crying. I was so angry at my teacher but I felt so bad for yelling at my teacher because I knew that yelling would make things any better or change things. Then my friends were yelling at her because she made me cry. She then said, "I don't make people cry." I was so confused when she said that. I was thinking "Like can you not see my crying?' After I stopped crying she wanted me to write a letter to my mom about what happened. She read it and she said that I don't have to give it to her but I told my mom about it anyways. Even though I felt bad for yelling at my teacher it felt great when I finally let out the anger that I was bottling up inside.

This example relates to my theme because if you don't let out your anger sometimes you might explode with that anger and you might do something that you might regret.
