Everyone knows, knew, or was that "wallflower" in school. Nothing seems to go right for you, madness in your mind, craziness in your family... this story is beautiful. Friendship, family, struggles, love, that teenage feeling of "I'M INVINCIBLE!" I highlighted a lot of favorite quotes throughout this book, but my all time favorite(s) are..."we accept the love we think we deserve" and "and in that moment, I swear we were infinite" *Loved the movie adaptation of this, too
Age/Audience: Grades 9-12
Teaching points: Adolescent Issues/Relationships/High School/Friendship
Date read: 1/19/17
