wind: first the wind blows at the mountain and it has no where to go but up the wind expands and gets cooler so on that side of the mountain its more moist. On the other side of the mountain then the wind goes back down the other side but does sort of the opposite which leads to lots of evaporation and warmer temperatures so it a lot more dry.

From all of these challenges I have learned a lot about climates and weather. Some thing that helped me learn about climates was challenge 10. I never thought about the weather on my birthday but challenge 3 helped me learn about the weather on my birthday. Challenge 8 helped me learn about how the wind traveled on the ocean. Challenge 9 helped me learn about Denver, St Louis, and Ankara climates. Challenge 2 helped me learn about all of the air masses. I never really thought about air masses until I got to do this challenge. Also for challenge 5 I got to make a test about fronts so It made me understand weather fronts a lot better. These are all of the challenges that helped me learn about all of the types of weather and climates.
