I am a pre-nursing student who is finishing my Associates of Healthcare Studies this semester. I have been working in various of healthcare settings for over a decade as an Insurance Verification Specialist. I have chosen High Blood Pressure in the African American community because of my husband. He is someone who is very active and eat relatively well. However, he has high blood pressure due to his family history.
