         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today's workshop gave us a good insight into the learning category of IB Standard and Practices .<br>The group discussion and collaborative reflection helped us to recognize the areas of development at out organisation for effective learning and teaching.<br>Decoding of IB mission statement was an interesting activity and it led to good understanding of International Mindedness too!<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The session on Enhanced PSP 2020 was a preliminary&nbsp; and reflective session to understand program practices and requirement collectively-<strong>-What it means to be an IB SCHOOL </strong>through <strong>self study questionnaire in our school context.</strong><br>We focused on Learning component which is a strategic area. <strong>Learning is divided into 4 standards</strong></div><ul><li>Coherent curriculum–( Focus more on school Admins and teachers)Planning , Collaboration, designing curriculum–&nbsp;</li><li>Lifelong learners (Focus more on learners)–How do we get our students to be future ready, ATLs , Skill dev, Independent learners, LP</li><li>Approaches to teaching (concept, Inquiry, Context, reflection)</li><li>Approaches to assessment (Methods , Data, Reporting analysis)</li><li>Also discussed 21st century skills in context of IM--handling and managing conflicts, coping up with change/flexibility</li></ul><div>We look forward to read the document periodically and&nbsp; work on areas of improvement .</div>]]></description>

         <title>Poorini.We started the session by understanding the progression from teaching and learning to learning and teaching. We all were digging deeper like IB learners would do. We looked into the aspect of learning which is the central part of IB philosophy, through the lenses of coherent curriculum, lifelong learners, approaches to teaching and assessment. We collaborated and listed out scope of improvement in different areas. This was a session which created the appetite for learning IB documents and collaborating for continuous improvement in  execution andreflection with international mindedness as the key focus area.</title>

We started by decoding the IB mission statement and keyed into the word International mindedness and identifying that IM is to be compassionate, open-minded, and Intercultural. We also understood that the standards and practices remain the same but the requirements for the programs differ.<br>The four groups of learning as<br>Coherent curriculum<br>Lifelong learners<br>Approaches to teaching&nbsp;<br>and approaches to assessment.</div>]]></description>
