These may include answers to your questions that we had in the beginning such what a polar bears habitat is like, how they look, and what they eat. Special Characteristics ___<br><br>5) The writer shows their understanding oh what an “I Poem” is by including the<br><br>following from our “I Poem Anchor Chart” we created as a class:<br><br>a. A beginning line stating what/who you are ___<br><br>b. Facts and information about their animal ___<br><br>c. Written in first person (I, me, my, mine) ___<br><br>d. A line at the end restating who/what you are ___<br><br>(Each “____” or “a,b,c or d” is worth 3 points. A “3” will be given when the student goes<br><br>above and beyond, a “2” when they do everything the rubric asks for, and a “1” will be<br><br>given if they have some of the requirements but not all the way throughout the poem.”<br><br>**Students will be graded on their “I Poem” that they created individually with this<br><br>checklist. The checklist includes what we had on our anchor chart for what makes a good<br><br>“I Poem”. Students will be evaluated based on if they show an understanding of what this<br><br>consists of what the poem includes which is shown above.</div>]]></description>
