I’m curious to find out what happens, and why exactly they are going where they are, and what happened to the world, and why they are so scared; however I’m learning a bit more about how the world came to be, but I’m still curious where it’s heading.

This book reminds me of the tv show the walking dead because it is talking about a barren landscape and everyone is dead. In walking dead, a lot of the family is dead, and this book talks about survival and about grief after their family died which is very similar to what happens in the walking dead. Also the show is about a boy and his father which is what the road is about.

A song that matches this book is to build a home by cinematic orchestra because it talks about a home and disappearing and leaving and turning to dust which is what the father did he visited his childhood home and later died and left his son here’s the lyrics:

This signifys the father visiting his childhood and later dieing and leaving his son

The whole book is dark, sad and depressing. The setting is also very depressing, apocalyptic, and has dark topics like death and starvation.
