The cars are moving, people are busy walking.

This city is indeed fascinating,

But I hate to have this foreign feeling.

How I long to turn back time,
When every day was pure and kind.
Christmas came even in September’s glow,
Families gathered, warmth in tow.

Now, the holidays feel cold and thin,
No warmth, no cheer, just empty within.
The lights still shine, but they don’t gleam,
A broken heart trapped in a dream.

How I miss the laughter, the song,
When nothing felt out of place or wrong.
But those days are gone, just memories remain,
A longing that echoes in quiet pain

They stay hopeful, dreaming of brighter days,
But what if life is too cruel, too harsh in its ways?
Indeed, life is a gamble we’re forced to play,
Where only the bold can keep the darkness at bay.

So I pray each night for things to be right,
That every soul finds peace in the night.
No hunger, no dreams cast aside,
For we all deserve to live with pride.

But the world is tough, and dreams can break,
