Early in the morning, it's cold outside, meaning that the amount of vapor that can be in the air is low, causing the relative humidity to go to 100% (Dew Point) meaning water starts being forced out of the air causing fog. But when it warms up later in the day, the amount the water vapor that can be held in the air increases, making the fog disappear as it is no longer the dew point because as Temperature Goes up, Relative Humidity goes down. Meaning water no longer condenses and precipitates from the air.

Fog happens when moisture and heat are both in the air and science the morning's air is cooler and the relative humidity is higher in the morning in the morning because it is cooler the humidity has to be 100% so then the water vapor has nowhere to go so it is just sitting in the air. Then later in the day when the temperature warms up then the relative humidity decreases because the air warms up so then the water in the air has somewhere to go

How does the dehumidifier work?
It works by taking in the humid air. Then the dehumidifier has a cooling system made the same way as a refrigerator. It takes the water vapor in the air and turns it into water. That goes into the bottom of the dehumidifier until it is full or emptied. Then it releases the air with no water vapor. That causes the water vapor in the air to decrease.
