I'm David and I'm 17 . I was born in Ipiales. I graduated in 2020 at Institucion Educativa Ciudad De Ipiales. when I was in 7th grade at school I started to study English in a languages course at Nariño University in the afternoons , studing there for my was the most incredible and important experience, because, at school the English teaching was too much basic and I didn't learn how it really has to be, so, at the begining it was very hard and complicated learning English. However, I encouraged me when the english teacher talked to my classmates with a english level more developed than mine, I felt that I had to practice much more to achieve speaking english and able to comunicate with foreingner people. During two years and half in the english course, I learnt almost of the knowledge of English and relationated with other people using another language too. when I entered in that University I found a new way to follow during all my life and I knew what I was going to study and work in the future.
when I was in 9th grade I decided to continue learning english, so, I entered in a Language Institute where I achieved my speaking and reading comprehension too much with the help of excellent teachers for three years. Besides, for the first time I could comunicate with foreingner pelople, it was one of the best moments of my life, because I could share knowledge about my culture to other people and their cullture to me. Since that moment my goal has been travel to other countries and learn of the differents cultures.
Them, in 10th grade I had to do work social, so, I decided to teach english to other students with problems in learning english and like that complete the social work hours. It was a great experience with children, because, for the first time I had to prepare a class and develop a metodology in order to my students could learn english of the best form. From that moment, I have always liked to teach english to other people.
Currently, I'm in Ipiales and I'm studing a degree of languages in La Universidad del Valle.
About my likes and dislikes, I love learning English and other languages, I love apples, salads, mangos, bananas, strawberries, grapes, oranges and juices, anyway, I love healthy food.
I like teaching, doing exercises, watching movies, series, and specially documentals in english, jogging, swimming, cycling, travelling, reading, being tidy and listen to music in english.
I don't like sweets and blackberries, nothing else.
I'm a person who likes to go ahead, doing the things in the best form and learning new things everyday.

Hi guys, I'm 22 years old man.
I have done another studies like tecnical in Health and Security at Work in a Foundation named C.E.S and a Technological studies in Business Logistics in S.E.N.A all of them culminated. At the begining I started to study that careers for a prompt laboral oportunity, but at the final I don't like any of that professions. I don't regret for to study that, because I'm happy to had invested my time learning anything that can help me in any situation of life.
Previously I was studying Sanitary and Environmental Engineering in the Universidad del Valle, but I realized at time that I was continue studying things for work and not for passion, then I was convinced myself of to study something that I like, then I choosed this career about languages and teaching, some things that I love to do and to learn.
In the past, my studies in Logistics opened me the door in the Evacol Enterprise for to begins my work life, begining with the intership and after renew my laboral contract, I didn't accept it for reasons of a negative laboral climate there. In that moment I had taked a decission for living independent in a department located in the neighborhood of Floralia, moving to Cali. Cuz of my not-thought decission of continue working I had to look for a quick job for to pay the rent and the other things, then I sent my CV to Mercatodo, they acepted me like Packed Man and months later I was promoted for Cash Checker and Food Dispenser.
Later I finish working there and work in another sites like a Call Center, there I begins like Adviser and after I became in Call Center's Coordinator in the Clinic Sáname. Later I work with Credit Cards like comercial adviser and after in the la 14 too. In the 2019 I stop to work in Cali and moved to Jamundí for live again with my family and begins a new life style, one more responsible for me and my dreams. There I begins to work in a Restaurant named Matambre - Parrilla Argentina. There I started working like waiter, after like cash checker and now I'm the Waiter Captain of the resturant (was better than be Cash Checker, cuz people can requite me better for my atention with tips)
This a superficial laboral theme about me.
I like so much sport and the fit life, actually I'm out of that, but in the next month I will recover it.
I like so much animals and biology in general, BBC programs are one of my favorite Netflix series, accompanied with Anime 😎. I live with my mother and she's one of the main potential reasons for to follow my purposes, she is a marvelous woman and I have many things for learn from her.
I love the water, I try don't eat suggar or so processed foods with high levels of saturated fats.
My favorite meal is the "Sudado de Pollo" by mother and marine food. I love the music, my favorite artist is Shakira and my actual favorite song is "Arrasando - Thalia" and I love dance too.
I consider like a responsible, enjoyable and independent man.

I'm Viviana, i'm a versatile and very tenacious woman, a mother full of love and patience but very disciplined, who loves to eat chocolates, walk listening to music and being surrounded by dogs. My favorite Activity with My little boy is to watch documentaries and reading stories by his side.

Since i'm an adult i'm working as an costumers service representant, in diferents companies like Coomeva servicios administrativos, Gases de Occidente, Claro among others. In 2014 i got the seat in the Psicology Program in Univalle University, but life brought me a huge surprise when i got pregnant, then i choosed left the studies because My Main responsibility was My baby boy. Around one year later i cameback to work again in the same area untill now i got this second chance to study, but this time My real vocation.

My primary and High school studies was in a private school directed by nuns, since then i was pretty good to understand English, and i tried to study in an Achademy of lenguages called American School Way, however had to stop for economic reasons. But i keep learning by My own, reading stories, watching movies, tv series, and hearing music all in English. Now i'm actually starting to build My biggest goal, become a teacher to learn, getting the knowledge to share it with others that want to Open their posibilities too.

Hi everyone. I am Luisa and I am 18 years old. I was born in Cali but the most part of my life I lived in Yumbo; when I was admit at University, we (my family and me) come to live in Cali. My name is Brigitte, I am 16 years old, I was born in Cali, but I have lived 14 years in Poblado Campestre. I studied at Institución Educativa La Arboleda until ninth grade, and I attended 10th and 11th grade at Institución Educativa Santo Tomás CASD. I graduated as a Technical Bachelor with the specialty of Natural Sciences - Biotechnology. I recently started my higher education at Univalle, I am a student in the Bachelor of Foreign Languages with Emphasis in English and French. I live with my parents and my sisters. We have a cat, chickens, cows, sheep, rabbits and cuys, I love the animals.♥️

Hello everyone!
My name is Paula, I'm 18 years old. I was born in Cali and I studied at I.E.T.I Rafael Navia Varón. Since I was in the school we didn't have a continuous learning in English, due to the students didn't show interest to learn. Then, I started to study English by myself with music, films, videogames, etc.

Shortly after, my school had a contract with a language institute called Colombo Americano, once there, I learned a lot about the grammar and improve my writing and speaking skills. Hence, I felt really passionate about languages and that's the reason why I'm here, studying the Bachelor of Foreign Languages but I want to become a polyglot.

On the other hand, about my personal life, I like the music and some instruments like guitar and ukulele, but I'm so bat at playing them. Also, I like candies, chocolates, make desserts and my favorite food is pasta. Finally, I live with my parents, my brother and my grandfather and my house looks like a zoo because we have 9 pets, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 quail, a parrot and a hamster, that means we love animals and I'd like to have more.

Hello everybody!!
My name is Nicholas, i'm 18 years old, i was born a lived here in cali my whole life, i graduated in 2019. i studied at "Centro Educativo Industrial Luis Madina". in my school english learning was not really good and i didn't like it either. for that reason i wasn't able to like the english or any language. when i was 14 years old my parents made me go to the "Universidad Libre" for learning english, i learnt nothing there and on that december i decided to learn by myself, out of the university, with videos, music, movies, series, speaking english with myself til i couldn't learn more.

In a few time i got a high level for being learning by myself, so i started to go to the university again, just to review. i'm not really good writing 'cause the mostly of my time i watch series and movies which made me learn that vocabulary. The reason why i wanted to study this career is because of i feel really passionate about every language that i cross. at this precise moment i study japanese 'cause i like the language and culture of the country, i'd like to go to study there and i'm trying to go with a scholarship.

About my personal life, i really like music of every kind of genres and languages, i listen a lot of japanese music, english, spanish, some of it is even french. I play guitar, Piano, some of ukelele, and i like to practice rap as freestyle (to improvise). i live with my mom, little brother, and my grandparents. my house is a mess sometimes but it's funny. My name is Nicol Vargas (I always write my name with just one L) I'm 17 years old, I'll be turning 18 this 19th. I was born in Cali and lived there for 7 years then I moved on to Florida, Valle because my mom's parents were living here (they're no longer alive 😢). In Cali I studied at the Enrique Olaya Herrera school and here in Florida I studied and graduated from Absalón Torres Camacho, I didn't like this school but it is the best public school here.
When I was like 9 yo I started listening to Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson and then I fell in love with pop music and this easy language haha. I never went to any course to learn English, all I know was learnt by myself and because of the music that I started to listen at a young age. And lately I'm watching series in English and I'm learning new words.
What it comes to my private life, I live with my mom, sister and my nephew, my sister studies at Icesi (She is a scholarship, also, she's not the mom of my nephew, it's my other sister) we have three dogs and two cats. As I said before, I like pop music, my favorite singer is Harry Styles and my fav band is one direction, my favorite song is Do I wanna know by Arctic Monkeys. I love watching series and my favorite one is American Horror Story, also, I love the TV reality Drag Race, it's so entertaining.

Hello everyone, My name is Juan Sebastián, I was born in Cali, I'm 22 years old and I used to live in Cartago with my mom and my grandparents... But that was only the first 5 years of my childhood, then My mother and I moved to Cali to live with my dad. I have a sister and she's 7 years old, she's in primary school.
I used to study industrial engineering at Univalle.. But this just wasn't for me. I believe that everyone could make mistakes of this kind specially when you try to force things for many reasons. But anyway I'm losing my mind, the point is... that I want to become a teacher and make a difference in the academic world by being able to work with future generations of students. I don't remember the exact date but I used to study at Colombo americano and I've always listened music in English.

In my freetime I play guitar, I make new songs for my bands, actually I'm in two bands, I play the bass guitar and I also sing... one of them is called cenizo and it's post-hardcore with screams and the other one is called bosques and it's softer, I could say it's more like alternative... indie or something like that, so in a few words: Art it's pretty important for me too. I'm very involved in this local scene environment of music... I also like to watch movies and chill. Unfortunately I don't have pets but my girlfriend does and I love animals but mostly dogs. I'm Estefanía, i'm 17 yo and i was born in Cali. I live with my parents, old sister and my twin. I don't have pets but i want to adopt one.

Abt my education, i graduate from I.E Joaquin de Cayzedo y Cuero. My favourite class was the english class and math. I learned the basics of English at school, sadly the level of education wasn't very good but i was so interested in the english language so i watched movies, series, tv shows with subtitles also listened to music and i did learn a lot because of that. I haven't participated in any english courses before, neither have i been on an learning english institute before. I still have a lot of things and subjects to learn. I'm currently studying in foreign launguages degree in Univalle.

My life is kinda boring. Very often I enjoy watching investigation and crime documentaries, also i like to watch anime, recently i finished "saiki kusuo no psi-nan" but i enjoy reading manga the most. I don't play any instrument but i like the electric guitar, bass and drums. My favourite sport is volleyball. In the last 4 years I have been supporting a kpop band called Seventeen. I love fast food and chocolate. The things i dislike the most are taking pictures of myself (selfies) and onions.

Hi guys, it's so nice to meet you all even thought we're under this global emergency. I'm Christian, but I would rather like you to call me Chris if possible; it's just that everyone called me that since I was a kid, so, I'm used to it. I'm 21 years old, and I don't like candies or any sweet flavor, for that matter. I'm currently living with my parents and my older sister. Mom doesn't like pets, so we don't have one; but someday I will.

I graduated from a public school at Ibagué and in almost all my student life I was constantly moving from city to city, due to my dad's work: he was working with a sales company, and he had to check everything was going ok in those cities we lived on (there was this year I studied in 4 different schools just in one year straight).

I love reading and literature; in my free time I usually read. That's also one of the main reasons I decided to begin a degree in literature at Univalle in 2019: literature registers the mindset and the point(s) of view of almost everything we could imagine and that is something I deeply enjoy to study and want to learn more about.

I have never taken a proper English course; all I know is because I've learned by myself. I was enrolled with Sitel for almost 9 months; therefore, I think that also helped me improve both my communication and writing skills. I decided to start this degree in foreign languages because I love teaching and I would like to improve my knowledge in English and French, but also to be in touch and get to know that literature, which are my favorite. Furthermore, I want to feel closer to them, by reading them in their core language.

Hello, my name is Tatiana, but most people call me Tatis. I'm 16 years old, I was born in Cali and I've lived all my life here.
I studied at Instituto Técnico Comercial del Norte and I graduated last year with an accounting technician; also, in 2018 I started to study at the Colombo Americano with a program call Access Microscholarship and I finished last year in July.

Since I was a little girl, I dreamed with learn new languages and also to be a teacher as my father, for that reason I chose this career.

Hi, Guys!
My name is Salome Ramirez Ortiz, I'm 17. I was born in Cali but I have lived my whole life in Yumbo.
I studied seven english semesters at CLC (Centro de Lenguas y Culturas) in Univalle.
Im live with my mom and her husband; we have six pets: three cats and three dogs.
I have played violin for 9 years and I love reading.
All my life I wanted to play soccer, I had been training but my mom did not know it because she never let me train. Since a year ago I started to ride a bike with a group called Motivadores Bike and this month I will start to train clycling for participate in departmental and national in 2022.
I do not like to teach so I am studying languages because I love it and I want to travel around the world.
I always thought studying at Univalle was an unattainable dream but now, look at us, so, that's why we have to be happy for being here and be persistent to complete it in the best way.
