Zombie is a song written by the Irish group "The Cranberries" in 1994. It’s taken from their album No Need to Argue. The song’s genre is alternative rock, grunge and pop.
The main singer is Dolores O’Riordan, and the three other
members of the band are Noel Hogan, who plays the electric guitar, Mike Hogan,
who plays the bass, and Fergl Lawler, who plays the drums. This song was
written by Dolores O’Riordan while she was touring England in 1993; she wrote it because of a tragedy that happened while she was away: on 20th March 1993, two little boys were killed by the IRA (The Irish Republican Army) and 56 people were injured. This event is called the Warrington Bombings.
Zombie then became the group’s biggest hit and charted number 1 in many countries.

The song’s verse is extremely slow and sung calmly, we can
hear desperation in the singer’s voice. The lyrics are also heartbreaking: « A child is slowly taken » and « Another mother’s breaking heart is taking over ». It’s a small tribute to the victims of the Warrington bombings and their families.
Meanwhile, the chorus, which repeats / reiterates the word “Zombie” frequently, is very aggressive and loud, we can hear the main singer’s anger.
We can see hear that two atmospheres alternate, namely sadness and anger.

To conclude, Zombie by the Cranberries is a classic today because of
its symbolism during a violent era in Ireland.
It changes a lot from their usual songs, which are much happier and more hopeful, such as Dreams, a song also written in 1993 from their album Everybody Else is Doing it, so Why Can’t We?

Hercule Poirot wants to go back to London on the Orient Express; but during the night the train stops in Turkey, and Mr Ratchett is killed.

Poirot begins his investigation.

There are twelve suspects.

Poirot will give two propositions to Mr Bouc and to Dr Constantine. They will have to make a choice to find out who killed Ratchett .

According to the first theory, a stranger entered the train and killed Ratchett.

And the second theory is: all the passengers planned and committed the crime together.

Hercule Poirot took a leave from work to go to London and board the Orient Express train. During one of the nights on board, the train stopped because of the snow, and Mr. Ratchett was then murdered. Poirot started investigating and interrogated all the passengers in the coach. There are twelve suspects. After checking all the luggage, many questions were yet to be answered by Poirot: Who is the killer and is he on the train? Will he kill again? At the end of the trip, Poirot gave two likely solutions, and Dr. Constantine and Mr. Bouc had to choose. The first proposition was that a stranger entered into the train and killed. The second proposition was that all the passengers committed the crime together, in order to revenge the murder of somebody else.

It is more strange when the two statues of doctor Barnicot are also broken, one in his house, the other one in his surgery. Then there is a murder in front of a journalist's house, and the statue of Napoleon of the journalist has also been broken. A photograph of a man is in the dead man’s pocket. Sherlock investigates and asks questions to the shop owners where the statues have been bought and to the workshop owner. The man on the photograph is Beppo, an Italian who was a sculptor who was making statues of Napoleon and was arrested because he stabbed a man. Sherlock asks who has bought the other statues and sets a trap. Beppo is arrested by Sherlock and Lestrade. Beppo has broken the statue and there is nothing in it. Sherlocks buys the last statue to the last owner and breaks it : there is a stolen pearl inside. It was hidden by Beppo before he was arrested for stabbing a man.

Enola continues her investigation, but one day, two nasty men kidnap Enola, and one other child: the young Lord Tewksbury.

In order to get back to London, Hercule Poirot took the Orient Express train; but because of a huge snowfall, the train had to make a stop in Turkey. During that night there was a murder and Mr.Ratchett was killed. Hercule Poirot started investigating and interrogating each of the twelve suspects. When the trip was coming to an end, he gave two suggestions to Mr.Bouc and to Dr.Constantine. The first one was that an outsider entered the train and murdered Mr.Ratchett, and the second one was that every single suspect was guilty and wanted to take revenge for a young girl who had died. Only one suggestion was the truth, and they had to decide.

Inside the hat were inscribed the initials H.B. Sherlock; he thought that it was Henry Baker’s. Sherlock’s friend found a stolen diamond in the stomach of the goose. Sherlock thought H.B had stolen the diamond. He met him for his inquiry but finally he saw that he was innocent. Sherlock wanted to find the man who had sold H.B the goose. He found him, he was really guilty and the policeman arrested him.

Animal Farm is a novel by George Orwell. It's about animals on a farm who rebel against their cruel human owner, Mr Jones, to create a society where all animals are equal.

After the rebellion, the pigs Napoleon and Snowball lead the animals, but Napoleon takes full control. Over time, the pigs became corrupt, changing the rules to benefit themselves. They even start acting like humans, walking on two legs and making deals with humans.

In the end, the animals realize that the pigs are no different from the humans they once hated.
