Find the mass of an graduated cylinder without any water in it and with water in it. After that you put 45 mL of water into a graduated cylinder and measure it on the scale and that was 65 M. Then you measure the graduated cylinder without anyting in it, and that is 21.4. Finally you divide the mass 44.4mL and the volume 45mL and you get the density of 0.986.
