Today I learned... about cultural heritage, in particular about the important role that understanding intangible cultural heritage has in cultural dialogue and mutual respect for cultural diversity. I also learned about the important role of digital dynamics, tools and skills in the process of preserving this fragile intangible cultural heritage for future generations.

The island of Guadeloupe is a melting pot of cultures brought by people from different parts of the world... which makes it an island with a rich and diverse culture.

Today, I learned a little about the importance of digital dynamic cultural dialogue and its relationship with cultural heritage, with regard to everything that is produced, materially or immaterially, by human beings and that really defines the culture of people. But the one that surprised me was the intangible cultural heritage "is the mainspring of humanity's cultural diversity".

An in-depth understanding of the cultural heritage of different communities is fundamental to fostering intercultural dialogue. By immersing ourselves in the traditions, values and customs of diverse ethnic and social groups, we gain an enriching perspective on the world around us. This understanding not only allows us appreciate the richness of cultural diversity, but also promotes acceptance and respect for others.

In today's session, I also really enjoyed learning about the history and culture of Guadeloupe.

So here we are in Guadalupe, in a digital dynamic cultural dialogue, with a group of great people, in a paradisiacal place, where the silence gives us great pleasure and inner peace. We sarted off by exchanging ideias of the purpose of this course. In today’s digital world, digital competence is essencial for personal, educacional and professional sucess.
But it’s very important what do you do with those skills in a world where online safety is in order . But also the ability of not loosing your own independently thinking. And for that you have to know and understand your cultural heritage as well as the heritage of others, for you to live in harmony and evolve as a human being…

Today I learn… the intangible cultural heritage is an important factor for the intercultural dialogue. It helps and promotes mutual respect for diferents life forms in a context of globalization. The preservation of the intangible cultural heritage allows the continuity of human creativity. ICT tools and digital dynamics can support the preservation of intangible cultural heritage for future generations.
