Evidence based practice includes the 3 domains which is clinical practice, patient preference and best evidence . Lastly, quality improvement focuses on system and processes.

I learnt about the difference between research and EBP. Research is a scientific process of inquiry that generates new knowledge to fill gaps in literature while EBP is a problem-solving approach that uses the best available evidence to answer a clinical question.

Thank you for posting your learning points:
Nur Nabilah
Sherrise
Jing Yun
Shao Lian

EBP promotes safe, quality and cost-effective outcomes for patient outcomes. It integrated the best evidence with the consideration of clinical expertise and and patient preferences.

There are many EBP models that serve as resources for clinicians/ nurses. Iowa model provides a step by step algorithm of the EBP process, while the comprehensive JBI model provides a comprehensive guide to the stages in EBP but also filtered evidence (systematic reviews, meta analysis) and support programs; and lastly PARIHS framework helps focus on key elements with strategies to successfully implement EBP.
