         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are four (4) main kinds of wetlands – <strong><mark>marsh</mark></strong><mark>, </mark><strong><mark>swamp</mark></strong><mark>, </mark><strong><mark>bog and fen</mark></strong> (bogs and fens being <strong>types</strong> of mires). Some experts also recognize wet meadows and aquatic ecosystems as additional <strong>wetland types</strong>.  <br><br>Surface <strong>water</strong> comes from streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, and oceans. Hydric Soils: Wetland soils are different then the soils found in dry lands. Wetland soils are called hyrdric soils because the spaces between each grain of soil is filled with <strong>water</strong>. Wetland soils are anaerobic.<br><br>You wouldn't be recommended to go swimming in any of these 4 wetland areas, but dogs don't know that!</div>]]></description>
