This is a drawing of what the human body proportions looked like (said by Vitruvius) that was drawn by Leonardo Da Vinci somewhere near the year 1490 though most likely 1487. As you can see, it shows the general proportions of a human, though it looks like a male specifically. I chose this image because of how it looked interesting, and how fascinating Da Vinci's skill in art was. It also said a lot about Da Vinci's nature; he seemed to not think outside nor inside of the box, but rather the perspective of the box.

This is a painting that was made by Pieter Bruegel the Elder, who was a Flemish Renaissance artist. This was painted in 1560. It depicts a large amount of children, some depicted as toddlers, others perhaps as adolescents. They are playing a lot of games. Some you may spot as dolls, hoops, etc. I chose this as my second image because it amazes me how detailed and how much depth you can put into one image. Unlike the Mona Lisa, you can see how children may play everyday in that time, and I found that quite interesting.

This drawing is made by Albrecht Durer, made in 1503. What I see is a lovely scene, that looked like it took a long time to create. With all the intricate details and shading, especially since it was made with water color. Why I think someone would make this is because to study on how to create detailed art, as such that was Alberchts Duer main thought for it. He used it primarily for development in him making art. What this artwork shows about people who were alive during the Renaissance is that they were focused on the present and now rather than the future, focusing on the details and the present of the plant rather than what is to happen or the future of it. It also shows they had vast ideas of the beauty of nature. Why I decided to pick this piece of art is simply because of how it looked liked and how it portrayed such detailed plants.

this art piece is called the last judgment, by Michelangelo. it was made between the years 1536-1541. in this art piece i see the heaven and the earth. I think this shows that back in the middle ages if someone was found guilty they would be executed and sent to heaven. I also see jesus's cross. I think it shows that the punishment was harsh and that people back then were very judgmental, I chose this art work because it was painted by a famous renaissance man

This drawing is made by Leonardo Da Vinci, made in 1474-1478. What I see is a portrait of a woman, who doesn't have a smile nor a frown. Somewhere around a neutral expression. Why someone would make this because is to perhaps commemorate her marriage, in this case that's why Leonardo Da Vinci had done so. What this says about people living in the Renaissance period is that many had interest in painting people and their faces, and what they looked like to renaissance people or just how the looked like in general during the period. Why I picked this piece of art is because of how interesting she looked, as well as nor smiling or frowning.

I also notice that it looks like there are many people fighting. I think this shows that they had many disagreements I picked this art because it is unique in its own way because this was carved will the others were painted.

Artist: Paolo Veronese
Year Created: 1573
I see three archways in front of an open city. There are stairways in front of the left and right archways. All of the archways have people sitting and eating in them. The people are wearing colorful clothes and seem to be having a good time. Someone might make this because they might want to depict a feast they have always either dreamed to have or have been to. Or, they could be reliving a memory with a smaller feast that they wanted to share.
The artwork shows that people alive during the Renaissance had huge feasts with many people as shown in the picture. People wore bright colors, unlike today's usual black or blue.
I picked this piece of art to show because I liked the amount of detail present in it. It is amazing that a painter could paint this masterpiece in a year.

I also notice that there are a lot of people going to school at the same time, and all in one big room. I think that someone would make this to possibly show how school might have been like during the Renaissance. What this artwork shows about people who were alive during the Renaissance is that possibly they liked a lot of architecture in their buildings that they went to.
