My favorite show about love, dating, relationships, and sex is Never Have I Ever. This is one of my favorite shows as I found it very relatable. The show centers around a teenage girl named Devi and her attempt in trying to impress her high school crush, and " elevate " her social status. As the movie narrates her struggle it features many cringey and funny moments that I can personally identify with being a teenage girl myself. Check out this compilation of some of the most awkward moments from season 1:

My favorite movie about love, dating, relationship, and sex is Fault in the stars. The movie is about a cancer girl named Hazel is in this cancer group program. She meets a guy name Gus in the program. They have the same interest in certain things, but they became really good friends. She loves that he understands her. They eventually fall in love for each other. The reason I pick this movie because I feel like when someone really understand you and appreciate you. It can make you feel different about the person.

My favorite movie about love, dating, relationships and/or sex is Stuck In Love. This was available on Netflix for quite some time. It is about a writer who is experiencing a divorce/separation from his wife whom he describes as his soul mate for the entirety of the movie. He even leaves a plate for her at holiday dinners in case she decides to come back home she always has a place at the table. He has two children: a son who is in high school and a daughter in college. The son is an innocent, hopeless romantic who finds love with a girl named Kate who is emotionally trouble because of her parents and boyfriend. He tries to help her. The daughter in college is cynical when it comes to love often putting walls up and uses causal hook ups with guys with a much less IQ as her as a defense when encountering any emotional ties. She finds love with a down to earth guy in one of her classes and finds that because he's so safe and genuine she can trust him. The video I have attached is a representation of her views on love/marriage and connected to her parent's relationship.

My favorite movie about love and relationships would have to be Love, Rosie. I really like this movie because I am a sucker for the romance and romcom genre. This movie is mainly about two best friends named Rosie and Alex who time to time keep being separated miles away. As they are, they are juggling to contact each other while maintaining separate love lives. And whenever they do connect, they are always parted because of their lies and misunderstandings of each other, which conflicts with their friendship. I really enjoyed this movie because the story and the drama were interesting to follow along, as we get to see the dynamic that both the main characters shared as best friends since we get to see them both grow and learn and become better versions of themselves.

Call me a jaded masochist, but I'm so over these frivolous lovey dovey happy-go-lucky love stories. I want to feel some realistic pain and surprisingly I found that pain in Greta Gerwig's Little Women (2019). Jesus Christ, this scene where Laurie proposes to Jo... absolutely brutal. Laurie insists that he and Jo should "have it out" much to her dismay, and you can quite literally see how he works himself up in an effort to convince himself that he is the one for Jo. As an independent young woman who is looking for writing success and not marriage prospects, Jo gut wrenchingly pleads with Laurie to take his proposal elsewhere. She knows that a life with Laurie would be unfruitful for the both of them as Laurie had already started to shape so much of his personality around what he thinks Jo wants. This one sided "love" shows the naivety possessed by someone who falls in love with the idea of a person instead of the actual person. It is a refreshing reminder that the love we think we want is not always the realistic love we deserve.

My favorite show is Jersey Shore. As much as people hate on this show and as stupid as it is majority of the show is based on love, sex, and relationships. I love this show because as dumb and entertaining as it is there are a lot of lessons about love in it. For an example Ron and Sam's relationship throughout the show taught fans a lot about unhealthy relationships and how to deal and not deal with them. This show also showed a lot about relationships in general because at one point almost every character was in a relationship. Jersey Shore is a reality TV show so everything that happened is what was going on in their real lives.

The show is about a teenage boy who has a sex therapist as a mother and he open an underground sex therapy clinic at school to help his fellow students about their sex problems.

My favorite love movie would definitely have to be The Notebook. The movie takes place in the 1940's when men didn't just want sex from women and relationships weren't just hookups. It shows a true summer romance that has to end when she moves away for college, but then they find a way back to each other years later. If that doesn't explain love, I don't know what else would. Their connection and love for each other is what I have always craved in a relationship. It's true, and it's so powerful.

My favorite movie scene with regards to love would have to be the ending of the movie "Titanic." I remember I first watched the movie when I was 14 and I thought it was one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. There is something so real and so personal about Jack and Roses' love for each other. I love how no matter what status they were economically, their love overrides all of that because it was so strong and lustful. I wish we are able to see more of this type of romance in this generation because the dating culture now has become more about the physical aspect rather than the emotional experience one goes through when they are in love. I hope that some day I will be able to experience love like in the movie "Titanic" so I can understand what true love really is as it has become distorted in today's society

My favorite love movie would definitely be A Walk To Remember. This movie is from 2002 and also based off a novel by Nicholas Sparks (1999). The movie is set in North Carolina and it is about a boy who us very reckless and useless in the high school they both attend and the girl is the daughter of a priest and a very studious student. They fall in love despite their differences and it is amazing to see how easily love can change a person. It is my favorite love movie to watch because it truly is such an inspirational and moving movie to watch, the ending is incredibly sad (I will not spoil) but it definitely is a tear jerker. It truly teaches its viewers to fall for someone who brings out the best in you, and to this day that is one of the most important things to me.

This Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore movie features the main character, Lucy, who suffered from short-term memory loss after a car accident. She met Henry who instantly falls in love with her, but forgets him when she awakens each morning. Lucy's family is very protective of her and is skeptical when Henry wants to stay in her life despite her condition.

My absolute favorite commentary on love come from a comedy special on Netflix by Daniel Sloss called Jigsaw. He goes in depth on how we as people often times feel as though you need someone to love in order to complete the "jigsaw puzzle" of your life, to complete you. and because of this there can be this need to just to be loved and will choose people who don't love you completely and your force yourself to make it work so you aren't alone. He points out that if you only love yourself at 20%, someone can come along and only love 30% of you, and you may see that as so much, but its literally less than half. Sometimes the jigsaw doesn't need your partner to be the completion to your jigsaw, but another piece that works together and fits with the rest of the puzzle. It does sound a bit confusing or somewhat pessimistic, but it helped through a really hard time and to realize the importance of finding love that is equal and balanced.

I enjoy this show because it allows the actors and actresses to date without seeing each other. They are placed in pods and have to form a relationship based on emotion connection rather than a physical connection, and they also get married by the end of the series. I believe that a relationship is not strictly based on looks and building a connection prior to meeting would be nice.

I like it because I feel like it touches on so many issues that are normally not communicated or even though about in a relationship. It talks about how how love is seen now as almost a contract where it is unconditional until a certain persons conditions are not met and how people try to force their partner to fit the image they have rather than accepting them for who they are and loving who they may become. I feel like the problem with love now and days is that people sometimes fail to realized that it is ok to grow with someone because you will grow and change throughout life. Love is learning to accept that in someone and choosing to love them regardless of their struggles.

I can think of a few movies and such that fit this question but the first one that came to mind was In A Heart Beat. Firstly I love good queer representation which this short film has, and I think the plot and animation is so cute I can't not love it! -Joanna Buchner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2REkk9SCRn0 Buchner
