There are many quotes that say things like “be yourself” or “If you have to stand alone then be a shadow.” It can be hard sometimes to do so though. We sometimes get sucked into what everybody else is doing, rather then being ourselves. St. Cecilia only had her brother and husband, but originally her husband didn’t even agree with her, she kept on standing up for herself. The reason why she went through everything is to go to heaven and become a saintly. People called her crazy and kept on testing her about her relgion, but she was always confident in God and herself.
