Teachers to "coach" the active kids on how to interact with the more reserved kids, explain to the buddy on the condition and teach the buddy how to manage their own emotions too(when they encounter difficulties when dealing with the more reserved kids).
Can consider to pair different buddies(change termly) to prevent buddy fatigue.

Teach kids how to be facilitator ( how to make their buddy open up to them), giving them sentence starters
