Believe it or not, you can cycle all the way to London OFF ROAD - by the side of canals (the UK has an extensive network of canals from the first industrial revolution - the boats on the canals were pulled by horses hundreds of kilometers). But if you do decide to cycle to London, give yourself more time than a weekend - it's 300 KMs from here!
