1950년부터 시작하는데요.
단순히 보면 1950년 전 세계 인구 중 5세 이하는 3.4억이고
2020년 전 세계 인구 중 5세 이하는 6.8억이니 
5세 이하 인구가 많이 늘었다고 볼 수 있습니다.
그러나 이것은 한 단편에 불과한데요.
단순 숫자가 아닌 전체 인구 중에서 5세 이하 인구가 차지하는 비중을
살펴보면 그렇게 희망적이지 않다는 점을 알 수 있습니다.
1950년에는 5세 이하 인구가 전체 인구 대비 13.3%였는데
2020년에는 이 비율이 8.7%까지 떨어졌습니다.
이러한 추세가 계속된다면 전 세계 노인 인구는 계속 증가하고
점점 어린아이들을 찾아보기 힘든 세상이 올 수도 있습니다.
