steady your cell phone by bracing one or more fingers of the hand holding the phone against the side of the eyepiece. Keep the phone as flat as possible against the eyepiece (don't tilt the phone one way or another).
3. While steadying the phone, slowly move the cell phone camera lens up and down and back and forth across the eyepiece until the lens is lined up giving you a straight shot down the barrel of the eyepiece. You will see the material on the phone's screen (this is difficult and requires patience).
4. You can zoom in to enlarge the image to fill the screen or keep it small and edit it on the phone after you take the picture (probably easier).
5. Your phone will snap in and out of focus. Timing is everything! With your free hand, be ready to take the picture when the phone is focused on the subject. You will have to take multiple shots.
