This causes people to believe what she has to say due to the emotional longing for answers about their loved ones that have passed. This TV show has been very popular across America which has caused Theresa to profit off of her 'gift'. During scanning, however, there was next to no activity whatsoever. This causes the audience to believe that during readings the brain is not doing any of the work and all of the readings are coming from spirit. This draws on the red flag, Appeal to Authority.
