eLAs will be paid 5 minutes for each interim report  and 10 minutes for each Final report.

If a cause for concern is raised, refer to escalation process 

Final report
Check that it has been submitted
Check that there are no N/As on the report. All reports must have a 0,1,2,3
If an N/A has been awarded please email mentor teacher. Use the attached email template to help guide your email.

Please stress to students that they are to ensure their final reports are not scored using any NAs.

This resource is now located in student resources in the student portal. Please promote within your units. 

With Lesson or Learning Plans, we advise students to use the SOL plans, unless the setting asks them to use a specific plan associated with the setting. 

However all assessments that require plans need to be submitted using the SOL template. 

Please remind students that all Lesson and Learning Plans need to be completed 24 hours prior to teaching and to share this with their mentor teacher.

Mentor teacher submits a support plan to the eLA.  
eLAs are paid to check reports.
·         eLA informs UC
·         UC together with eLA provide extra support in the way of goal setting that relates back to the mentor teacher's support plan. A copy is sent to both the student and mentor teacher. (Template for goal setting is provided by the LUC). Please Cc LUC in final goal setting document.  

·        eLA checks in regularly with student and mentor teacher to keep track of student progress. 
 
If a school terminates a student’s Professional Experience 
·         eLA informs UC
·         UC informs LUC
·         LUC will determine course of action

If a school/mentor teacher or student requests a phone call from Swinburne Online
·         eLA  informs UCs
·         UC informs LUC
          UC or LUC will make phone call

Therefore eLAs are expected to be available in an adjusted capacity to students and mentors teachers.

The information will be separated into learning groups for each unit. 

Please note, you will be provided updated templates in week 3 that will have both final and interim reports attached.

Using the provided template, eLAs will email mentor teachers according to student's start date. Please ensure that the emailing of mentor teachers is within a 48 period to ensure that emails aren't going out too early.

Mentor teachers will be required to email both reports back to the eLA. eLAs will send reports to mentor teachers via the introduction email. All eLAs will be given reports attached to the email template by your UC.
