Barnardo's : is a British charity founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1866, to care for vulnerable children. Barnardo's work with children from 0-18 years of age in a variety of different ways. How they work depends on the individual child's age and stage of development. If your worried about a child you know that is being abused or neglected, physically emotionally or sexually you can ring Barnardo's and they can help. Barnardo's Charity Head Office is in the Christ Church Square, The Liberties, Dublin 8.  
 
ChildLine : is Ireland's 24-hour national listening service for all children and young people (under the age of 18) It is private and confidential and non-judgemental and can be contacted by any child or young person by calling. You can talk with ChildLine in confidence, about anything that might be on your mind and they wont judge you, give out to you or tell you what to do.
