I found that if I stay more organized I am more motivated to get things done and to stay on top of things. I expect myself to always turn in my assignments on time and never late. As a future teacher, I expect myself to be open and understanding. I know that in my own life I have many things going on and it does get hard to stay on top of things so I want to be understanding of my future students and to help them out rather than not caring and failing them on the assignment or topic. I will say though, I will not let my students take advantage of me while I do try to be understanding. I say that because I believe that people can change but for the most part, we remain true to who we are. I personally know that in the past I dreaded going to certain classes because they weren't fun or motivating, I felt they were a waste of time. I worry that I will struggle getting the students involved. I hope to have students who enjoy my class and can feel welcomed and excited. I think this course will help me understand that each child is different which means each child learns in other ways rather than one.
