Physical:
Using Krokodil usually results in death but can also cause gangrene, infection or other side effects of drug use. In comparison to other drugs like methamphetamine, Krokodil is much worse and can result in loss of limbs. If the liquid is injected directly into the bloodstream rather than a vein, the skin will start to develop abscesses. In extreme cases, which are not too extreme because the drug itself is extremely powerful, the skin can start to rot off of the bone(Narconon). Also, because of people not knowing how injection process works, the user could inject dirty needles into an unsanitised area which is also another cause for concern as that can contribute the change in color of the skin(HuffPost).

This means that the drug is classified as a high potential for abuse. This classification is correct because it is the most highly addictive substance in the U.S. It also produces the worst withdrawal symptoms of users being in extreme pain and sometimes left with permanent damages such as "speech impediments, vacant gaze, and erratic movements"
