So this unit was really fun especially learning, el futuro and pretérito indefinido, I believe I have improved a lot in my speaking since the last and I find it way easier to understand words, the summative assessment went well on my opinion but of course there are thing that I have to improve on and I think with practice I will be able to.

Las Vacaciones Reflection:

This unit was wonderful, and it really helped me with conjugations, as we learnt more about future conjugations in great depth. The vocabulary we used was more advanced than last unit, with it focused more on beach supplies, hotels, transport, restaurants, and tourist activities. The worksheets were very engaging, in which we had to take up the role of a travel agent and plan trips ourselves. We also played a lot more Kahoots, which aided the learning process. I think I need some more practice with verbs and sentence formulation, but I’m very proud of my newfound clarity on future-tense conjugations. I wish we had more variety of activities, except worksheets and quizzes. For the overall unit, maybe we could have moved a little slower to really ensure everyone understood the topic fully. But other than that, this was actually a very interesting, fun, and enjoyable unit.

In this unit, we explored the topic of Vacaciones (vacations) in Spanish. We also learnt about “Preterido Indefinido” and “El Futuro Simple” (Past tense, present tense respectively).

I feel that my writing and speaking skills have improved, alongside learning new vocabulary, especially since last unit.

For the summative, I felt I could have done better in the test, mostly in the speaking/conversation part. I could have used better vocabulary for the speaking questions.

Next unit, I hope to improve my speaking skills (with the vocabulary I learnt).

In this unit we learnt about el futuro and pretérito indefinido. I really enjoyed this unit because we had a mix of, fun like kahoot, comprehension worksheets and field trips. I think I can better comprehend text as well as frame it better and with more clarity. I was able to explain myself better during the SA as well as FA. I still need to improve my speaking and I think if I keep on practicing like this I will be able to do that.

In this unit we explored pretérito indefinido and las vacaciones.
We also played more Kahoot compared to last unit! I mainly improve on my reading comprehension skills and remembering conjugations. Overall I really loved this unit.

In our Spanish unit, Las Vacaciones, we learned a lot of new vocabulary that expanded our understanding of Spanish. We explored different cities, seasons, and weather conditions. We specifically learned about things associated with summer, especially at the beach, such as la playa (the beach), arena (sand), and olas (waves). Additionally, we covered words related to the environment, including bosques (forests), la montaña (the mountain), and sol (sun).

We also studied the future tense, conjunctions, and various verbs. Throughout the unit, we played many Kahoot games, which made learning more engaging. It was exciting to explore new topics we hadn’t learned before. The vocabulary was also easy to pronounce, which made our learning more effective.

One thing that could have been improved is incorporating a greater variety of learning activities. For example, using class time to create presentations, collaborate with classmates on posters, and engage in other interactive projects could have made the experience even more enriching.

In this unit we explored various conjugations in the different tenses, such as Preterito Indefinido (past tense) and El Futuro Simple (future tense). By learning conjugations, we were able to explore vocabulary while speaking in past tense, or explaining something that has happened already, and for future tense we learned about how words are differently conjugated for something that is about to happen. While honing our vocabulary skills we particularly focused on Las Vaccaciones, the name of our unit, in which we primarily explored vacations in Spanish. We explored terminologies and vocabulary related to vacations and terminology associated with places and activities. We had some smaller activities in which we explored different places based on a set of questions and had to give insightful presentations. I really enjoyed this unit as we explored various aspects of society through Spanish, and I found this unit more diverse than others.

This unit has been great overall. We have learnt so much new vocabulary based on vacations, we have done many activities too and it was really fun. Since I love to travel and have traveled so much as a child this unit was really relate able and I found myself wanting to learn more about vacaciones. I found speaking, reading, and writing surprisingly easy and found the vocabulary easy to remember. Even learning about el futuro and pretérito indefinido was also really fun and improved my speaking and writing skills overall.

In this unit, Las Vacaciones, I had a lot of fun and I learnt so much. During the unit, we learnt past tense conjugations (Pretérito Indefinido) and future tense conjugations (Futuro Simple). We also did passages and made notes to deepen our vocabulary. We also played a lot of Kahoots which made it challenging for everyone and at the same time, it was really fun. All of this really helped me in my summative assessment which was a comprehension and a speaking test as it was easier for me to understand the meanings. I feel this unit was great and we should have more units like this to deepen our spanish vocabulary.
